This regulation is applicable to all ponds managed by us, that is to say the Bois de Boulogne water bodies and the Hauts-de-Seine water bodies. Please note that specific regulations apply to certain ponds, consult their details for more information.
THE RIGHT TO FISH
All fishermen must be in possession of a fishing license for the current year, with the Ponds Option 92/75 (available on www.cartedepeche.fr),

AUTHORIZED FISHING METHODS AND MODES
- Four lines maximum mounted on rods and fitted with one or two hooks.
- The rods must be in the immediate vicinity of the fisherman.
- Six crayfish scales maximum.
FISHING OPENING PERIOD
- Fishing prohibited at night regardless of the fishing method.
- Fishing is open all year round on the ponds, except after the nursery. Fishing prohibited in streams.
- Fishing can be practiced half an hour before sunrise, up to half an hour after sunset.
- General closure of fishing for 3 weeks from mid-November to mid-December following the fry (information by posting and website).
- The AAPPMA reserves the right to temporarily close ponds as part of maintenance work or monitoring of the fish management plan. (info by posting and website).
PIKE FISHING
- Specific closure of pike fishing from the last Sunday in January to the last Friday in April. During the period of specific prohibition of pike fishing, live fishing, dead fish, soft or hard lures, with a spoon, in a word all means likely to catch this fish in a non-accidental manner are prohibited in waters classified in 2nd category. (Art. R. 436-33 of the Envir code)
- During the pike's specific closure period, only natural baits (earthworms, earthworms, larvae, etc.), artificial (soft lures in the form of worms, larvae or insects) are authorized.
EEL FISHING
- Yellow eel fishing authorized from February 15 to July 15 inclusive.
- Fishing for silver eel (downstream eel) prohibited throughout the year.
- Use of whole or piece eel as prohibited bait.
- Mandatory eel notebook.
TOTAL NO-KILL CARP FISHING
- All bodies of water are under carpodrome regulation, carp fishing in total NoKill. Any carp caught over 20 cm must be returned to the water in the best possible conditions. - Is punished with a fine of 22,500 euros for an amateur fisherman to transport live carp over 60 cm, Article L.436-16 of the Environmental Code.
- Carp fishing prohibited at night. - Storage bag prohibited, reception mat compulsory.
- Use of the bait boat prohibited in the ponds in order to preserve the local fauna.
PROHIBITED AREAS AND FISHING MODES
- Fishing prohibited outside the areas marked on the banks (see maps in this guide and on site).
- Fishing prohibited in streams (The collection of clutter and mud is prohibited in streams and bodies of water).
- Fishing prohibited in boats, on the islands, while walking in the water, breaking the ice and during lowering of water for repairs.
- Whip fly fishing prohibited on all ponds except Boulogne pond.
MINIMUM STORAGE SIZE FOR FISH
The length of the fish is measured from the tip of the snout to the end of the tail:
- Pike ................... 60 cm
- Zander: ................ 50 cm
- Black-bass .............. 40 cm The number of authorized catches of pike perch, pike and black bass, per fisherman and per day, is set at three predators, including two pike maximum.
FISHING GUARDS AND OFFENSES
- Any fisherman must present his fishing license to any requisition of the particular fishing guards of the AAPPMA 92/75, of the Federal Fishery Guards Brigade, agents of the National Forestry Office, police officers or the National Gendarmerie.
- Depending on the offense, offenders risk a fixed fine of at least € 150 to € 450.
CONSUMPTION OF FISH
- Bois de Boulogne : By decision of the City of Paris, the consumption of fish caught in the Bois de Boulogne is prohibited.
- Parks 92 : By decision of the Department 92 Office, the consumption of fish caught in the Parks 92 is allowed, except from the pond of Etang Colbert in Plessis Robinson: which is prohibited due to bad water conditons.
FISHING WASTE
Letting go of fishing waste is a potentially fatal act for wild and domestic animals. Respect the environment, collect your fishing waste!

SPECIAL BOIS DE BOULOGNE REGULATIONS :
Etang de l'Abbaye: Fishing is prohibited entirely, reserved for the activities of the 92/75 Fishing School.
Lac Supérieur: Fishing within the limits authorized on the site on weekends and public holidays (model boat). Fishing open all over the lake the other days.
Lac Inférieur: Fishing closed from 2 p.m. to 6 p.m., every day from May 1 to September 30 for canoeing. Fishing authorized from 6 p.m. Fishing prohibited in boats and on the islands.
Etang de Boulogne (Multi-species Fly Reservoir):
Fly fishing is allowed for Predators (Perch, Pike, Black-bass) and Carp in total NO-KILL (no salmonid hatchery), all catches must be delicately unhooked and returned to the water (wet hands to grab fish). Use of the basket and priming prohibited.

SPECIAL PARKS 92 REGULATIONS :
Fishermen must comply with the Regulations for parks, gardens and departmental walks. The following are also prohibited:
- the use of rod holders and support spikes driven into the ground;
- heavy priming: only light booster priming is allowed.
- depositing fishery products or rubbish from the body of water, in wastepaper baskets or elsewhere in the park;
- the abandonment of lines, hooks and other waste related to the activity;
- consumption of alcoholic beverages; access to the beds of aquatic plants;
- the introduction of any fish or other animal, and the release of any product without the approval of AAPPMA or the Department;
- Etang des Hautes-Bornes in Villeneuve-la-Garenne: Fishing during the park's opening hours to the public and within the limits marked on the ground, see map. The length of the rods is limited to 5 m for safety due to High Voltage lines. Fishing pontoon reserved primarily for holders of the disabled person card.
- Etang André Malraux in Nanterre: Fishing within the limits marked on the ground, see map. Handi-fishing area equipped.
- Grand canal and octagon of Parc de Sceaux: Fishing during the park's opening hours to the public and within the limits marked on the ground, see map. Closed fishing on the Octagon on Sundays and public holidays from 2 p.m., fishing remains open on the Grand Canal. Fishing prohibited on canoeing areas.
- Etang Colbert in Plessis Robinson: Fishing during the park's opening hours to the public and within the limits marked on the ground, see map. Fishing pontoon reserved primarily for holders of the disabled person card.
